PRIVACY POLICY

Zenith Boutique Lodge & Spa was created to provide absolute exclusivity and privacy for a limited number of guests, so we are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Under no circumstances the details of our guests will be shared amongst individuals or will be distributed to any third party without our guests consent.

ZENITH BOUTIQUE LODGE & SPA BOOKING, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICIES, TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICY FOR ANY SUITES BOOKED WITH ‘ADVANCE PURCHASE RATES’

For any Suites with an Advance Purchase Rate a non-refundable deposit of 100% will be charged at the time of booking, this type of booking cannot be modified and cancelled.

GENERAL BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICY FOR 2 SUITES OR LESS (EXCEPT FOR ANY SUITES BOOKED WITH ‘ADVANCE PURCHASE RATES’)

A 5 percent discount may be available if you are able to pay in full at the time of booking. The discount may not be available in combination with certain rates, services and specials. If you prefer not to pay in full at the time of booking the following deposit and payment policy applies.

An advanced deposit of 25% of the total cost of your stay is required to confirm your reservation; this will be taken from the supplied credit card within 14 days of making your booking. Alternatively, kindly advise if payment via bank transfer is preferred. A pro forma invoice will be sent along with account details.

All reservation requests are subject to confirmation after payment is received. All accommodation rates are quoted in NZ Dollars and include the New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%.

GROUP BOOKINGS (3 SUITES OR MORE) BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICY (EXCEPT FOR ANY SUITES BOOKED WITH ‘ADVANCE PURCHASE RATES’)

Reservations of 3 or more Suites are considered a group booking, and the following booking and payment conditions will apply:

A 5 percent discount may be available if you are able to pay in full at the time of booking. The discount may not be available in combination with certain rates, services and specials. If you prefer not to pay in full at the time of booking the following deposit and payment policy applies.

To confirm a group booking within a period from 1 April until 14 November a deposit of 35% on accommodation is required. Balance payments are due with 15% at 91 days, 25% at 60 days and final 25% at 30 days.

To confirm a group booking within a High Season from 15 November until 1 April a deposit of 35% on accommodation is required. Balance payments are due with 15% at 91 days, final 50% at 75 days.

OTHER PAYMENT POLICIES

Prepayment policies and tariff inclusions may vary according to room rate or package type. Please check the room rate conditions when selecting your room or package.

All promotional offers are fully chargeable at time of booking and non refundable.

The credit card details you give to Zenith Boutique Lodge & Spa for the deposit and guarantee of your accommodation may be used for charges incurred due to cancellation and/or charges not paid for at checkout.

If you have any change to your plans please inform us in writing, as early as possible. The cancellation policy is detailed below and will be applied.

No refunds are transferred to any credit card other than the original credit card provided for the guarantee or payment.

When booking third party activities or excursions please be aware that they may have different terms, conditions and cancellation policies to Zenith Boutique Lodge & Spa.

When booking third party add-ons please be aware that for cancellations within 7days of arrival these will be charged fully on credit card.

ZENITH BOUTIQUE LODGE & SPA CANCELLATION POLICIES

Any cancellation must be received by 5pm local NZ time and based on total stay amount including tax. We apply the following cancellation penalties:

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ANY SUITES BOOKED WITH ‘ADVANCE PURCHASE RATES’

For any Suites booked with Advance Purchase Rates, cancellations are not possible without incurring a charge. Penalty Charge for cancellation is 100 percent of stay

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 2 SUITES OR LESS, APPLIES 1 APRIL – 14 NOV

Outside 90 days before arrival – No charge
90 – 31 days – Transaction Fee (NZ$250)
30 – 14 days – 50% charge for the room nights cancelled
Less than 14 days – Full charge for the room nights cancelled

SUMMER SEASON CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 2 SUITES OR LESS, APPLIES 15 NOV – 23 DEC AND 5 JAN – 1 APR

Outside 90 days before arrival – No charge
90 – 60 days – 50% charge for the room nights cancelled
Less than 60 days – Full charge for the room nights cancelled

HOLIDAY SEASON CANCELLATION POLICY, APPLIES 24 DEC – 4 JAN

Cancellation from 1 September to date of arrival – 100% charge for the room nights cancelled.

GROUP CANCELLATION POLICY, APPLIES 1 APR – 14 NOV (3 SUITES OR MORE)

Outside 120 days before arrival – No charge
120 – 91 days prior – 25% charge for the room nights cancelled
90 – 61 days prior – 50% charge for the room nights cancelled
60 – 30 days prior – 75% charge for the room nights cancelled
Less than 30 days prior – 100% charge of the total room nights cancelled

HIGH SEASON GROUP CANCELLATION POLICY, APPLIES 15 NOV – 1 APR (3 SUITES OR MORE)

Outside 120 days before arrival – No charge
120 – 91 days prior – 25% charge for the room nights cancelled
90 – 75 days prior – 50% charge for the room nights cancelled
Less than 75 days prior – 100% charge of the total room nights cancelled

SPECIAL CANCELLATION CONDITIONS APLY FOR EXCLUSIVE BUY OUTS OF THE WHOLE PROPERTY

We encourage our guests to take out comprehensive travel insurance, in case of any unexpected changes in their travel plans which may incur a cancellation fee.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES POLICY

Our two bedroom Pool Suite and two bedroom Garden Suite are suitable for families and children when occupying adults room using existing bedding.

If you wish to bring your children then Pool and/or Garden Suites rate for 3-4 persons applies.

The maximum occupancy of each Pool or Garden Suite is 4 persons (including children).

Children using Lodge facilities, Lodge Parks and Grounds, Pool House Roof Stone Garden have to be supervised by adults.

Any children using the Cable Car must be accompanied by an adult who was instructed how to use the Cable Car.

SMOKING POLICY

Please note that all Suites and internal areas of Zenith Boutique Lodge & Spa are smoke free. We encourage guests wishing to indulge in smoking to do so on balconies or terraces whilst enjoying the superb views of the Wellington Harbour.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE POLICY

Check in time, on day of arrival is 14.00 (2pm). Check out, on day of departure is 11.00 (11am). Those guests wishing to arrive earlier cannot be guaranteed access to their Suite. Any early arrival or late departure are subject to Suite availability on a day of arrival/departure. Please, pre-register for an early arrival/late departure by sending us an email, this must be done in advance and, if confirmed, is the equivalent of 50% of the nightly tariff.

PARKS & GROUNDS USE SAFETY POLICY

Walking, jogging and any other use of the Lodge Parks and Grounds is at your own risk and sole responsibility. The Lodge accepts no liability for any injury, death or loss (clothing, valuables, etc.) associated with the use of Parks and Grounds surrounding the Lodge.

Please, be aware that some tiled paths/steps/patios areas may be slippery when wet, so take your own safety precautions while walking. Due to steep character of the Lodge grounds the Safety Rails and Balustrades are installed for your safety and convenience in many areas that may be slippery when wet or rainy.

Do not climb or jump over any Safety Rails or Balustrades.

Do not walk or climb on the terraced waterfalls of the Lower Garden and don’t allow children to do so.

If you wish to explore the Lodge Parks and Grounds at night when the exterior lighting is off, please advise Reception to turn the exterior lights on. In addition, you can be provided with a torch to insure your safety.

Please, be advised that for your safety and due to occasional high winds all exterior furniture is permanently fixed to balconies, terraces and patios.

POOL & SPA COMPLEX SAFETY POLICY AND RULES

There’s no lifeguard on duty: swimming and any other use of the Swimming Pool, the Spa Pool and the Steam Room is at your own risk. The Lodge accepts no liability for any injury, death or loss (clothing, valuables, etc.) associated with the use of the Pool & Spa Complex.

The following Pool & Spa Complex Rules are designed for your safety and convenience:

  • No running, jumping, diving, wrestling, pushing or dunking of other people
  • No ball playing. No flotation devices or toys, except small swimming aids, are permitted. Horseplay in and around the Pool is not permitted
  • Appropriate swim wear must be worn in all areas of the Pool & Spa Complex, cut off jeans or long pants are not allowed
  • Do not use the Pool while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Any children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult
  • No diapers are allowed in the Pool
  • Spitting or blowing the nose is prohibited in the Pool and the Pool area
  • Absolutely no glass or glassware allowed in the Pool area
  • All guests who use the Pool do so at their own risk and sole responsibility

Pool & Spa Complex Hours: 7.00am to 10.00pm

Maximum Occupancy: Swimming Pool – 10 persons, Spa Pool – 4 persons, Steam Room – 4 persons. Pool & Spa Complex general use is restricted to registered Lodge guests only. Any potential special requests are subject to confirmation.

GYMNASIUM POLICY

Please, read the Gym equipment manuals before Gym use. Gym is restricted to adults use only.

Gym Hours: 7.00am to 10.00pm

Gym Maximum Occupancy: no more than 3 persons at the same time.
